1962 CHRYSLER NEWPORT $2,100 440 engine with a 1965 stamp on the block, this was one of the first 440's made for the 1966 cars. It was compresion tested good. This car is not origanal, it was going to be customized but I didnt have the time & resources to accomplish the project. Many repairs were done to this vehical, I have a service manual and lots of information including parts suppliers and reciepts, all the block numbers & stamps, vin # ect. the engine compartment was thorowly cleaned & spray painted, the under body is clean, any small rust areas were stabilized, the interior is clean and in ok condition. this car was one of the last large large vehicals, sporting a trunk you could fit a family in. If you have vision "finish the project" this car has very unique lines. The idea was to make a large comfortable unique hotrod cruiser with power to "blow doors" if need be! , or maby you just want the 440 ect. It was garaged at first and then tarped for the past 4 years. Yes it will start & drive. Call David at 516-987-1495 or email davidc714@gmail.com I have pictures, located in Long Island New York.
