Dodge Charger Driver Capps Scores Ticket to Rain Delayed NHRA Seattle Funny Car Final
Rain curtailed the action just before the final round at this weekend's 29th annual NHRA Northwest Nationals near Seattle, but the wet weather certainly did not dampen the spirits of Ron Capps and his Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car crew. Capps, competing out of the Don Schumacher Racing (DSR) stable, methodically knocked out everyone in his way en route to his eighth final round of the season and 98th of his storied career before Mother Nature got her way.

FCA Canada Reports July 2016 Sales
FCA Canada today reported sales of 24,669 units, down 14 per cent compared with sales in July 2015 of 28,534.

FCA US Reports Increase in July 2016 U.S. Sales
FCA US LLC today reported U.S. sales of 180,727 units, up 0.3 percent compared with sales in July 2015 (180,124 units). Both the Jeep and Ram Truck brands were up 5 percent in July compared with the same month a year ago. Two Dodge brand models – the Dodge Grand Caravan and the Dodge Challenger – also turned in year-over-year sales gains in July

FCA México Reports July 2016 Sales of 7,617 Units
July sales of the Chrysler brand totaled 178 units, led primarily by the Chrysler Town & Country. The Dodge brand rose 1 percent year-over-year, posting sales of 2,927 units. Jeep brand had a strong July with sales of 889 units. Sales of the Ram brand were of 1,667 units. In July, Ram 700 continued to lead its segment by posting sales of 887 units, an increase of 30 percent over July 2015.
